Store Manager in Training

We are currently looking for a friendly, energetic, and dedicated individual to join our team as a Store Manager in Training.

This role is designed for an experienced retail professional who is passionate about developing their leadership skills and progressing into a Store Manager position. The successful candidate will take on leadership responsibilities, including team development, sales performance management, customer experience excellence, and supporting daily store operations.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• A university degree or college diploma in business administration, retail management, or a related field may be considered an asset and may be required depending on the complexity and scope of store operations.
• Several years of progressive retail sales experience with increasing levels of responsibility are required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of retail sales experience, including experience in a supervisory, assistant management, or leadership capacity.
• Candidates must demonstrate career progression through roles of increasing responsibility, such as Sales Associate, Senior Sales Associate, Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and/or Store Manager.
• Jewellery, luxury retail, or specialty retail sales experience is considered an asset.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, sales strategies, customer service excellence, and achieving business objectives.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review business data, identify opportunities, and make objective decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and lead daily store operations while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Coach, mentor, and develop Brand Ambassadors to achieve individual and store sales objectives.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences while representing the Paris Jewellers brand.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members.
• Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to support employee success and succession planning.
• Analyze sales reports, business metrics, and performance results to identify opportunities and improve store performance.
• Support scheduling and labour planning to ensure the store is appropriately staffed.
• Assist with inventory management, merchandising standards, and operational requirements.
• Support loss prevention initiatives and ensure accountability for high‑value inventory and company assets.
• Help create a positive, results‑driven, and customer‑focused store environment.
