Job Purpose
The Manager of High-Value and Medical Inventory Programs is responsible for leading all inventory operations related to high-value products, and demo medical device equipment programs for new strategic client programs. This includes the full life cycle of demo medical-grade equipment activities such as intake, inspection, cleaning, storage, shipping, while ensuring proper documentation and compliance reporting.
Working closely with existing warehousing leadership and the Executive team, the High-Value and Medical Inventory Program Manager oversees all internal large-scale workflow Inventory programs while ensuring world class service and operational excellence standards for the client.
Duties & Responsibilities

Medical Device Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of inventory related to demonstrator medical equipment, including receiving, inspection, QC, storing, outbound shipping and proper handling according to regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure full chain-of-command documentation for all medical devices and associated pieces of equipment.
- Establish and maintain workflows that support a fast turnaround, with high accuracy.
Compliance, Quality, GDP
- Partner with our compliance teams to ensure accurate inventory processes and procedures for handling medical equipment and sensitive or high-value equipment.
- Conduct regular evaluations and audits ensuring compliance, document integrity, per GDP or ISO guidelines including audit readiness, documentation accuracy, and adherence to all regulatory and customer-specific requirements.
- Maintain ISO & GDP SOPs, ensuring team compliance with pre-determined standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular evaluations and audits to assess service quality and contract compliance.
- Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in medical inventory management and regulatory compliance.
Operational Leadership
- Design efficient inventory processes and workflows that support high-volume, multi-client, or multi-site environments.
- Create and support strategic planning, operational oversight, and continuous improvement of inventory processes.
- Optimize high-value and large-scale inventory account procedures to ensure effectiveness and accuracy, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Support warehouse management teams with specialized initiatives related to large-scale, medical, or GDP accounts.
- Ensure readiness of inventory team, providing hands-on training, coaching, and mentoring the operational knowledge required for large-scale, high-volume, medical, or GDP new client requirements.
Client-Facing Experience
- Partner with leadership, compliance, and onboarding to ensure inventory readiness for all Tier 1 or large-scale clients.
- Manage large-scale inventory related escalations with a solutions-oriented mindset and in an expeditious manner.
- Attend regular client calls, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance customer experience.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, mentor and develop, ensuring high performance and accountability.
- Develop a highly capable team that will execute inventory-related workflows and regulated processes with precision and accuracy, while exceeding customer expectations.
- Ensure full cross-training, and succession planning for all team members.
- Work closely and coordinate cross-functionally with sales, operations, e-commerce, inventory, warehousing, procurement, IT, senior leadership and the executive team ensuring world class service and operational excellence standards for the client.
Performance and Reporting
- Develop and maintain compliance reporting, client reporting, KPIs, and other operational insights related to high-value and medical equipment inventory.
- Provide disposition recommendations for nonconforming inventory
- Lead root cause investigations and participate in the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) process for inventory-related issues.
- Provide timely reports to executives and key clients.
- Assist with the preparations of regular business reviews with executives and clients.
- Prepare annual business plans for scalability and growth aligning with the company’s annual objectives.

Professional & Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related technical field is required
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in inventory management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or program management role within the medical device or healthcare industry
- Knowledge of the Freight Forwarding industry and 3rd Party warehouse environment is essential
- Leadership experience in medical, pharmaceutical, medical device, or highly regulated inventory
- Hands-on experience managing high-value and/or demonstrator medical equipment
- Proven experience with ERP systems and advanced inventory management software
- Experience managing inventory teams in fast-paced, high-volume, multi-client or enterprise client environments
- Expertise in GDP and highly regulated inventory environments
- Specific ISO 13485 practical experience and certification considered an asset
- Six Sigma certifications (Green Belt/Black Belt) considered an asset

- Warehouse Environment
- Must be physically able to stand and walk around dock/warehouse for long periods of time
- May include occasional weekend work, shift work, in a highly targeted fast paced environment.
- Travel within the GTA to multiple warehouse locations
