We are seeking a Manager, Health and Safety to ensure our organization remains fully compliant with health and safety regulations and internal standards. This role is critical in maintaining a safe work environment across all sites and fostering a strong culture of compliance.

What You’ll Do
  • Ensure compliance with WorkSafe BC regulations, fire codes, and other applicable safety standards.
  • Maintain and improve the company’s health and safety program to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee health and safety governance structures and committees across all workplaces.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Deliver training for health and safety committee members and supervisors.
  • Lead MSI assessments and confirm appropriate control measures are in place.
  • Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address hazards and present compliance-focused recommendations.
  • Manage workplace injuries and support return-to-work programs.
  • Ensure annual evaluations of health and safety programs are completed.
  • Maintain consistent quality in first aid programs and emergency response plans.
  • Track and analyze health and safety data and report findings to management.
What We’re Looking For
  • Willingness to work full-time on-site.
  • 5+ years of experience as an OH&S Practitioner.
  • Diploma or Certificate in OH&S.
  • First Aid Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of WorkSafe BC regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
