A national health organization in Ottawa is seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting for a temporary full-time position. The role combines technical accounting expertise with leadership to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Ideal candidates will have a CPA designation and at least 6 years of experience in financial reporting. This hybrid role offers competitive pay ranging from $108,493 to $125,026, along with a commitment to community health and well-being.
Please note this role will work in a hybrid environment. The successful candidate will be working at our Ottawa head office (1800 Alta Vista Drive) and will be working a mixture of on-site and off-site work based on the parameters for our operations to meet the needs of our donors, our staff and our communities. Currently, employees are expected to have an in-person presence for at least 40% of their work time. This requirement may vary depending upon circumstances.

It safeguards public funds by ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial systems, processes, and reporting.
The Manager, Financial Reporting will combine technical accounting expertise with strong leadership and collaboration skills to ensure transparency, accuracy, and excellence in our external financial reporting.
In this key leadership position, you will oversee the planning, organization, and delivery of external financial reporting activities for Canadian Blood Services. Your work will directly support our accountability to a wide range of stakeholders, including provincial and territorial governments, our Board of Directors, and the Canadian public.
