Position Overview

We are a global mining company dedicated to safely delivering nickel, copper, cobalt, and platinum group metals essential for the world’s energy transition. The Manager, Technology Architecture joins our IT Governance & Architecture team and will oversee the strategic alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives, manage the technology architecture, and facilitate change management processes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and enforce IT architecture governance frameworks aligned with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Lead enterprise and technical architecture strategy, including business, data, applications, infrastructure foundations, and cyber security domains.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams of architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated architecture solutions.
  • Drive innovation and modernization by identifying emerging technologies.
  • Foster partnerships with technology providers and internal stakeholders, managing risk, compliance, and business continuity planning.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in similar positions and responsibilities.
  • Experience in mining, natural resources, energy, oil & gas, and/or intensive industrial industries (asset).
  • Strong knowledge of technology architecture governance frameworks and operating models.
  • Deep understanding of IT platforms, reference architectures, and models including applications, data, infrastructure foundations, and cyber security.
  • Experience with operational technology (OT) and industrial platforms.
  • Ability to manage global project delivery, resources, technical roadmaps, and adherence to standards.
  • Expertise in risk management, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • Strong partnership building with vendors and influence over business stakeholders.
  • Strategic decision‑making and analytical skills, with flexibility to manage change and complexity.
