Southlake Health is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as Manager, Emergency and Disaster Preparedness. Reporting to the Director, Support Services, this role plays a pivotal part in advancing risk management and patient safety across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and sustain Southlake’s Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Plan, ensuring readiness to respond to high‑risk situations and emergencies.
  • Lead recovery efforts when required.
  • Coordinate education, training, and organizational activities to foster a culture of safety and preparedness.
  • Ensure compliance with Accreditation Canada standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with leaders, staff, and external partners to identify and mitigate risk, strengthen organizational resilience, and lead emergency preparedness priorities in support of Accreditation.
