Job Responsibilities (You Will):
  • Responsible to develop and maintain a motivated and competent team, capable of achieving the District's sales goals, approx. 9 Account Managers
  • Three days/week in market seeing customers with Account Managers
  • Coach Account Managers through 1:1 meetings and time with the Account Manager in market
  • Frequent Travel throughout the Interior of BC
  • Accountable for market penetration/diversification, category expansion, profitable account growth and gross margin growth
  • Overall talent management and Account Manager development
  • Forecasting and executing appropriate gap closure plans
  • Assist Regional Director with the development and implementation of the District sales plan
  • Consultation with Regional Director to set priorities and action plans to achieve objectives as set out in the District sales plan
  • Responsible for establishing sales goals and customer lists for each Account Manager
  • Leads the professional development and use of Sales Force
  • Ensure company's "Code of Ethics" is understood and adhered to
  • Liaison with the Top 50 customers/prospects within the District
  • Works closely with Internal Teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Perform other District Sales Manager related duties.
Education/Experience (You Have):
  • Graduation from Technical School, University and/or College with focus on Sales & Marketing Management, plus experience
  • Several years of successful selling and preferably sales management experience.
  • Experience and proven ability to supervise and motivate a large sales team.

  • Computer proficiency / CRM exposure
  • Proven ability to make own decisions as required within defined limits of the position

The position may require you to attend at our customers' sites. Some customers may have alcohol and drug screening policies for on-site contractors and vendors. You may be required to submit to such customer screening procedures as and when requested as a condition of being permitted on such sites.

This role may require you to attend our customers' sites and to adhere to safety requirements in accordance with applicable health and safety legislation, as it relates to wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) on certain customer sites. This may include: a hard hat; steel‑toed safety boots, clean shaven or trimmed moustache/beard in order to wear a close‑fitted N95 mask or other required PPE. Details of these requirements will be provided during the recruitment process.

This position is salaried and will pay between $ 105,000 - $ 140,000 including commission at target; commission plan is uncapped.
