As the Manager, Digital Performance – Onboarding, you will play a key role in advancing one of Scotiabank’s strategic priorities — delivering a best-in-class digital onboarding experience for our clients. You’ll be responsible for developing insights and performance reporting that measure and optimize the success of our digital onboarding journeys. Your ability to turn data into compelling stories will help influence product backlogs, priorities, and strategic decisions across business and technology teams.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with the Analytics and Performance team to develop and maintain performance dashboards, scorecards, and regular reporting to track KPIs across digital onboarding journeys.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, friction points, and opportunities to enhance the end-to-end customer experience.
  • Translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for product, business, and technology partners.
  • Build and deliver compelling narratives and executive presentations that communicate performance results and business impact.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Business Leads, Digital Journey Managers, Marketing, Analytics and Finance to influence prioritization and roadmap decisions through data-driven storytelling.
  • Define and maintain measurement frameworks, KPIs, and data structures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability in performance tracking.
  • Continuously improve processes and reporting to enhance transparency, efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in performance measurement or analytics (preferably in financial services or digital transformation). Masters, MBA, or PhD is an asset.
  • You have strong familiarity working with data sets and can effectively derive insights
  • 3+ years of experience in performance measurement, analytics, or digital product management (preferably in financial services or digital transformation).
  • Strong technical skills in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint for data analysis, visualization, and presentation.
  • Proven experience cleaning, transforming and visualizing large data sets working with various data formats (e.g. unstructured logs, XML, JSON, flat files, SAS, CSV)
  • Solid knowledge of Data Analysis or manipulation tools for working with data (e.g., SQL, DB2, MySQL, Python, R)
  • Previous experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery) or other related cloud tools an asset
  • Experience using and implementing visualization tools like PowerBI
  • Proven ability to structure and interpret complex data, providing meaningful insights that influence business decisions.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with experience creating executive-ready materials.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong partnerships across business, analytics, and technology teams.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinking, influencing without authority, stakeholder management, adaptability, and problem-solving are critical for this type of role.
