Job description

Eyeline is a global team of risk takers, innovators and perfectionists who achieve creative visions and have fun doing it. A dynamic workforce nestled within the industry’s most intriguing cities, united by a drive to push the boundaries of storytelling. Learn more.

This role is part of Eyeline’s Technology organization, which is responsible for supporting creative excellence across our global studio. We are seeking an accomplished and highly motivated leader for our new Agentic Developer Experience group – someone with a proven track record of leading teams who build and support software development tools and release pipelines using both traditional and AI-powered approaches.

As Manager of Agentic Developer Experience you own Eyeline’s Developer Experience – how software engineers feel about and interact with their daily work tools, processes, and environment – as well as our Agent Experience – how easily and safely autonomous AI agents can access, understand, and operate within our ecosystem. These two areas are rapidly converging and we want a leader who will help us define, champion, and navigate the development processes of the future.

You will drive the technical strategy and day-to-day delivery for release engineering – leaning on your deep expertise in leading teams to design and deploy robust and frictionless software deployment pipelines. And you’ll leverage that same drive for developer enablement to ensure our agents are consistently configured, observable, and safely sandboxed.

By collaborating with our stakeholders in production, you’ll harness the potential of Eyeline’s “citizen developers” – our community of technically inclined production users – by expanding our principles of Developer Experience to a non-engineer audience, ensuring the coding agents they employ adhere to our standards and operate within our guardrails.

Success in this role means being a trusted strategic partner to both creative and technical leadership, delivering pipeline technology that connects teams, accelerates workflows, and drives Eyeline’s unified vision forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a force multiplier for a team of software engineers and citizen developers, through consistent, reliable, and user-friendly tools
  • Mentor a small team of high performing software engineers, conducting regular code reviews, fostering skills development, and cultivating a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement
  • Architect, own, and govern the end-to-end CI/CD infrastructure, ensuring a frictionless developer experience across all production environments
  • Partner with Platform Engineering to define our framework for hosting agents in production at scale, and ensure our services are designed with Agent Experience (AX) as a first principle
  • Collaborate with user-facing VFX and Stage Engineering teams to enable new production use cases for agent-powered automation
  • Set the technical strategy for release engineering and agentic development, driving continuous improvement in developer experience and velocity through the complementary use of both deterministic and agentic automation
  • Create awareness of new capabilities and policies in our agent ecosystem by writing documentation and release notes, giving presentations, and organizing training
  • Work with our infrastructure partners to maintain our standard production images for Windows and Linux
  • Inform and support our agent security standards, ensuring our data is protected and our incident recovery time is minimized
  • Meet with developer stakeholders to gather requirements and interpret them into robust and reusable solutions that work across our engineering organization
  • Foster a team that provides fast and effective support to your engineering stakeholders, utilizing a combination of AI-based automation, and a deep bench of highly experienced and responsive engineers.
