What is the opportunity?

As part of the Performance Management team, you will lead our Database Management team within the Operations Process Engineering (OPE) team in Transformation and Enterprise Operations (TEO). This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient oversight and governance of OPE databases, collaborating with various teams to drive AI initiatives and deliver valuable insights. This position will work closely with the Manager of Reporting and Insights to ensure quality and accuracy of all data used in the reporting of various KPIs for Employee Performance, Risk and Executive Dashboards.

What will you do?
  • Data Management: Lead a team responsible for database administration, including data modeling, ETL processes, and performance optimization.
  • Project Management: Plan and execute database-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation.
  • Governance: Establish and maintain database governance policies and procedures, including data quality & integrity standards and access controls.
  • Data Pipelines: Design and implement data pipelines to streamline data flow and ensure efficient data processing.
  • Automation: Develop and automate Python scripts to enhance database operations and reporting processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with AI initiative teams, reporting managers, and executives to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of database professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 2-5 years of experience in database management, with a strong understanding of database architecture and governance.
  • Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., SQL Server) and data management tools.
  • Strong programming skills in Python for automation and scripting.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Nice-to-have

  • Education or experience in data analytics, computer programming or equivalent.
  • Experience in AI/ML initiatives and data analytics is advantageous.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
