A leading financial services provider in Canada is seeking a Manager for Credit Risk Management to oversee credit risk and perform stress testing of various portfolios. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in credit risk, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and programming languages. This hybrid role offers competitive compensation in the range of $80,700 - $145,260 CAD depending on qualifications.
Credit Risk Management (CRM) is an independent group under the direction of the Chief Credit Officer (CCO), who reports to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), responsible for the enterprise-wide credit risk oversight at Manulife. CRM has the mandate to promote a culture of risk awareness across all levels of the organization and has the responsibility to establish and maintain Manulife’s credit risk management framework. This Manager, Credit Risk Management position will play a key role in the Credit Risk Management group’s mandate of Portfolio Oversight of the Manulife General Account by way of Portfolio Stress Testing and Independent Credit Review of various Investment desks.
