The Manager, Creative Content Unit is a leadership role responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of creative content production and acquisition within the CBC News Division for the Atlantic region. Reporting directly to the Managing Editor, this role is central to advancing our mission of being story-centred, growing our audience, enhancing community connections and fostering an engaged and agile staff. You will play a crucial role in shaping our digital presence, amplifying diverse regional voices and ensuring our content resonates with target demographics, particularly the 30-49 age group.
You will lead efforts to optimize content delivery across digital platforms and develop creators in diverse communities. Along with the Senior Producer of Creative Content who reports to you, you will source and evaluate documentary and short form content, make program planning recommendations and oversee the integration of acquired content to complement our original productions.
