Intellifi is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team in our Toronto office. The successful candidate will provide sales leadership in two key areas of growth: new software licensing contracts for the residential mortgage servicing platform and underwriting platform (LMS360), and the commercial underwriting platform (Atlas). They will also focus on new contracts for the Business Process Outsourcing group, which specializes in mortgage underwriting and servicing on Intellifi’s proprietary platforms.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from identification to signed agreement, including proof of concept where applicable.
- Identify decision‑makers, develop contact strategies, and maintain appropriate handoffs to internal teams (subject matter experts, customer success, executive).< /li>
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and support teams to create pitch decks, project plans, and term sheets.
- Build long‑lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to enhance customer experience.
- Execute demand generation activities to maintain pipeline coverage throughout the full sales cycle.
- Introduce potential partners to product and service value, deepening existing relationships and fostering new ones.
- Determine the role and influence of each external decision‑maker, maintaining relationships throughout the purchasing process.
- Lead client interactions with clear two‑way communication, managing expectations and providing proactive, unbiased feedback.
- Network actively within industry forums and conferences attended by target clients such as credit unions and schedule B financial institutions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in sales, relationship management, and development.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Canadian mortgage community, particularly the residential market.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong technical aptitude with understanding of loan management systems and their implementation.
