Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.

The Manager, Corporate Functions Finance works closely with team members to produce month-end results, monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and business line allocations. This role provides financial analysis, controls, and management reporting while acting as a trusted partner to supported functions. The incumbent will primarily support Audit and Legal & Secretaries, partnering with function stakeholders to provide timely, accurate, and value-added financial insights.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Work closely with team members to deliver the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, including the following activities:
  • Lead budgeting and analysis activities, identify key discussion points for meetings with department function heads, and follow up on action items to ensure they are reflected in budget summaries and packages. Support the preparation of Audit and Legal & Secretaries planning and forecast packages, including executive commentary and presentation materials.
  • Liaise with function budget coordinators to gather information supporting budget and forecast submissions, including compiling, researching, and consolidating statistical information for analysis and responding to requests for supporting details. Coordinate with Audit and Legal & Secretaries partners to validate assumptions, confirm initiative timing, and ensure alignment with corporate planning guidance.
  • Validate information sources, develop and maintain controls to improve data integrity and completeness, and create templates and processes to automate and simplify tasks.
  • Work closely with team members and partners to develop, refine, and maintain business line allocation methodologies; analyze the impact of changes; and communicate updates to the business lines. Support allocation analysis for Audit and Legal & Secretaries, including rate updates, auto-rule changes, and business line impacts.
  • Develop and sustain strategic relationships with key contacts, business partners, and stakeholders, including function senior management, other Corporate Functions Finance teams, and Business Line Finance, to deliver on the mandate and provide value-added analysis and insight. Key stakeholders include Audit and Legal & Secretaries leadership, budget coordinators, HR partners, and business line finance partners.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert by partnering with supported functions to provide analysis and guidance that enables informed decisions related to budget planning, forecasting, potential cost reduction activities, and ongoing financial management of business operations.
  • Act as a change agent by supporting the expense management mandate with key partners and stakeholders.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
