Komatsu in Ontario, Canada seeks a Manager, Controls & Automation Engineering, Hard Rock, to lead the global controls and automation engineering strategy across product lines. The Manager, Controls & Automation Engineering, Hard Rock is responsible for leading the execution of the global controls and automation engineering strategy across multiple product lines within the global underground hard rock business unit. The role provides technical and people leadership for the global Controls & Automation Engineering organization, developing a high-performing team that delivers standardized controls architectures and advanced product automation technologies that enhance machine performance, intelligence, safety, reliability, and customer value.
Working closely with global product engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, product management, quality, and internal automation technology divisions, this position leads the harmonization of controls systems, automation platforms, and software frameworks across product lines while driving the development and integration of autonomous and automated product capabilities.
This position will report to Vice President, Engineering, Hard Rock and will be based in one of the following locations Sudbury, Ontario, Canada; Boksburg, South Africa; Gelsenkirchen, Germany; Tychy, Poland
