  • Proven experience in multi-site CI program deployment.

  • Lead strategic Lean/Six Sigma projects (DMAIC, VSM, FMEA).

  • Monitor key performance indicators: efficiency, cost, quality, safety, engagement.

Skills

Mastery of Lean tools (PDCA, A3, 5 Why, VSM)

Position Summary

Bimbo Canada is seeking a Manager, Continuous Improvement to lead the deployment and sustainability of the CI model across logistics and manufacturing operations, in alignment with corporate standards. This role is responsible for identifying and activating the full operational potential, including ideal line models, critical nodes, and underutilized assets. The Manager will lead productivity projects and coach internal leaders in CI methodologies, while contributing to the overall performance of the End-to-End (E2E) value chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
    • Lead strategic Lean/Six Sigma projects (DMAIC, VSM, FMEA).
    • Facilitate Kaizen workshops, value stream mapping, and process analysis.
    • Deploy and sustain the Daily Management System (DMS):
      • Daily stand‑up meetings
      • Visual management boards (SQCDME)
      • Standard work implementation
    • Real‑time KPI tracking and problem‑solving
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making
    • Internal analytics tools (Power BI, Excel, ERP) to identify gaps and opportunities.
    • Implement automated performance dashboards (GB Connected).
    • Monitor key performance indicators: efficiency, cost, quality, safety, engagement.
  • Cultural Transformation & Leadership
    • Act as a change agent to embed a Lean culture: Model desired behaviors, train and engage mid‑level managers, build networks of change champions, manage resistance through communication, involvement, and quick wins.
  • Full Potential Identification
    • Diagnose gaps between current and optimal performance.
    • Define ideal line models and performance standards.
    • Prioritize critical nodes in the logistics network to maximize value.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with production, planning, sales, customer service, and HR teams.
    • Align CI initiatives with broader business objectives.
Experience & Education
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Operations Management.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (required).
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred).
Experience
  • 15+ years in logistics or CI within a CPG or manufacturing environment.
  • 10 years as leader of logistics or manufacturing department.
  • Proven experience in multi‑site CI program deployment.
  • Strong transformational leadership and change management capabilities.
