Infosys Public Services is seeking a Business Development Manager. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high‑level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. The primary focus of the Business Development Manager will be to identify, qualify and close new business opportunities with the Alberta Government. The territory will also include Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience with implementation of IT solutions in government and will be very familiar with Government procurement processes. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to offer the customer unique perspectives, have strong two‑way communication skills, understand the clients value drivers, and be able to use a consultative sales approach to position the appropriate services, offerings and solutions.
