Job Description:

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an outstanding Manager to lead and inspire a high-performing BDR team. This role is pivotal in driving success across K-12 territories across North America by building robust pipelines, fostering collaboration, and delivering measurable growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, an exceptional coach, and a trusted partner to their team, with a proven track record of success in sales leadership and deep expertise in the BDR function.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the performance and growth of the BDR team, ensuring effective pipeline generation to support sales objectives
  • Develop strategies to optimize prospecting efforts and enhance lead qualification processes
  • Provide visibility into pipeline metrics, with a focus on consistent tracking and reporting through effective use of internal tools

Team Leadership & Coaching:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of BDRs to achieve and exceed activity and pipeline generation goals
  • Conduct weekly 1:1s to review individual performance metrics, activities, and opportunities for development
  • Facilitate team coaching sessions, offering insights on objection handling, outreach strategies, and communication techniques
  • Hire and onboard top talent, continuously fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and accountability
  • Partner with Sales Directors and Account Executives (AEs) to align team efforts with broader sales initiatives
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and lead nurturing strategies
  • Act as a liaison between the BDR team and cross-functional partners, breaking down barriers and ensuring alignment on goals
  • Analyze BDR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Drive operational excellence, ensuring the team maintains high-quality CRM hygiene and adherence to workflows

Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years of progressive sales experience, including leadership of BDR teams or equivalent prospecting roles
  • 3+ years in sales leadership with a strong focus on BDR management and pipeline development
  • Proven success driving individual and team achievement, with a clear track record of exceeding activity-based and outcome-based targets
  • Deep understanding of lead generation, qualification strategies, and sales pipeline management
  • Exceptional coaching and mentoring abilities, with a passion for developing others
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; approachable, collaborative, and solutions-oriented
