About this opportunity

The Manager Atlantic Region Logistics position is responsible for leading and managing all logistics services that support offshore operations within the Atlantic region. Operating in a complex high‑risk environment the role requires sound judgement and swift decision‑making to ensure the safety, efficiency and continuity of drilling and production activities. As a key contributor to the overall success of offshore operations this role requires strategic oversight, operational excellence and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll do
  • Lead logistics operations across Atlantic Region assets.
  • Ensure continuous support for drilling, production and daily operations while maintaining full compliance with all regulatory and operational standards.
  • Lead a high‑performing team delivering complex and critical services.
  • Oversee third‑party logistics providers (vessels, helicopters, marine base, etc.).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and contractors.
  • Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement in logistics execution.
  • Support emergency response and contingency planning and allocate resources effectively under dynamic and high‑pressure conditions.
  • Training as required by the CAPP Standard Practice for Training & Qualifications of Personnel Transport Canada and other regulatory requirements and company‑required training as per the approved Cenovus Training Matrix.

  • Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in logistics/leadership with a strong understanding of Offshore Drilling and Operations activities.
  • Post‑secondary degree / diploma in a related field considered an asset.
