Overview

Our client, a well-known public accounting firm, is seeking both full-time and part-time Managers, Assurance & Audit to join their growing team in Central Ontario. As a Manager, Assurance & Audit, you will work closely with partners and clients to deliver tailored assurance, bookkeeping, and consulting services to owner-managed businesses. You’ll play a key leadership role in managing engagements, mentoring staff, and ensuring the highest quality of service delivery while contributing to business growth. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills, flex expertise in assurance and audit, and work in an environment that supports career growth and work-life balance.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Managing client engagements in a team environment, providing assurance, bookkeeping, and consulting services.
  • Overseeing project financials, including budgets, WIP, and billing.
  • Ensuring deadlines are met and client issues are resolved with high-quality service.
  • Building strong client relationships and generating new business opportunities.
  • Coaching and supporting staff to develop their skills and knowledge.
Accounting Management
  • University degree in Commerce or Accounting, with a Canadian CPA designation (CA, CPA).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience working with ASPE and / or ASNPO.
  • At least 3 years in a progressive management role in public accounting (preferred).
  • Experience working with owner-managed businesses and private enterprises.
  • Proven leadership in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and client service skills.
  • Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Working knowledge of CaseWare, Taxprep, Jazzit, and QuickBooks (preferred).
