As an Assurance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional client service
  2. Leading coaching and performance management/development for direct reports through goal-setting, guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities
  3. Participating in the recruitment process, including interviews and assessments
  4. Planning, leading, and executing client engagements across various industries and reporting frameworks; ensuring client needs are understood and met
  5. Managing work assignments and performance of engagement team members, being accountable for outcomes
  6. Applying strategies for profitable service delivery and influencing KPIs; maximizing engagement profitability through resource utilization
  7. Proactively solving problems with engagement teams and clients
  8. Sharing leadership within the firm by contributing to culture and business planning
  9. Identifying and supporting new business opportunities by understanding our firm, services, and client relationships
  10. Building our reputation as preferred business advisors in key sectors of our growing practice

Qualifications:

  • CPA (CPA, CA; CPA, CMA, or CPA, CGA) accreditation
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in public accounting or related industry
  • Strong technical knowledge in audit, assurance, accounting, and tax
  • Excellent planning, time management, and ability to prioritize

  • Proficiency with MS Office and accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, TaxPrep, Sage, QuickBooks)

Our salary range for this role in Prince George is $78,000 - $100,000, with variations based on location and experience. We value in-person collaboration and require teams to be in the office 4 days per week.
