The Manager, Analytics & Insights, leads the development and end-to-end delivery of business analytics for Scotia Securities Inc. This role partners with key stakeholders across the organization to provide innovative, data-driven solutions that enable decision‑making. The incumbent combines strong technical expertise with exceptional communication and leadership skills to drive performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

• Develop, maintain, and distribute reports and dashboards that track key performance metrics for SSI distribution channels, including mutual fund sales, assets under administration, Tier 1 supervision, and compliance reporting
• Design visually impactful and intuitive dashboards in Power BI, ensuring efficient data models and continuous improvement based on stakeholder feedback
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to build and optimize analytical infrastructure and data models that support accurate reporting and actionable insights
• Leverage multiple data sources, including Enterprise Data Lake, Google Cloud Platform & Microsoft Azure, to transform complex data into meaningful reports for Finance, Operations, and Leadership
• Provide business insights and develop executive‑level presentation materials to support senior management decision‑making
• Own and enhance the mutual funds sales and assets reporting suite for Scotia Securities Inc. and Scotia Financial Planning teams
• Ensure adherence to operational, regulatory, and compliance risk frameworks, including AML/ATF guidelines and the Bank’s risk appetite principles
• Promote an inclusive work environment aligned with the Bank’s values and conduct standards

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence role
• Strong technical expertise in SQL, Power BI, and data modeling; experience with Python/R and Azure ecosystem is an asset
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid understanding of ETL processes, data mining, profiling, cleansing, and enrichment
• The ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights.
• Experience managing data infrastructure and leveraging cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
• Knowledge of Canadian Retail Banking and Wealth Management distribution channels
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills
