Job summary

Mevotech LP is seeking a Manager Analytics & Forecasting to lead the development and management of supply, demand and inventory forecasts at multiple levels for raw materials. The role supports event-based movement of products to drive efficient purchasing and inventory.

Responsibilities include leading S&OP, reviewing historical trends, coordinating with multiple functions, and guiding forecast models. The position follows a hybrid work arrangement with some onsite and remote work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining an S&OP process.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing direct reports.
  • Demonstrated track record in supply, demand and inventory planning.
  • Technical experience using advanced forecasting tools.
  • Outstanding analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project launches and maintain S&OP processes for demand and supply forecasts.
  • Review historical sales and inventory trends and develop statistical forecast models.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to reconcile variances and update forecasts.
  • Interacts with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Customer Service to understand forecast drivers.
  • Utilize Excel and forecasting tools as primary planning systems.
  • Contribute to inventory strategies for existing and new products.

Job description

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to theSupply Chain Manager, theM anager Analytics & Forecasting willleadthe development and management of supply,demandand inventory forecasts at multiple levels for raw material. This person will oversee the creation and evaluation of item-level statistical forecasts andsupportsevent-based movement of product to drive efficient purchasing execution and productive inventory

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead project launch,facilitateand maintain S&OP process; developing both demand plan and supply forecast at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of the inventory planning function
  • Reviews historical sales and inventory trends,researchesdemand drivers, prepares forecast data, develops statistical forecastmodelsand evaluates forecast results
  • Coordinates cross-functional activities to reconcile significant variances and refines the forecast model to reflect updated sales and origination assumptions.
  • Interacts with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service to understand forecast drivers
  • Uses andmaintainsthe supply and demand planning software/tools/model as well as Microsoft Excel as primary forecasting system tools
  • Provides input to the Supply chain organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items and new products.
  • Closely coordinates and communicates customer action plans with supply chain organization.
  • Creating statistical forecasts
  • Reviewing,coordinatingand communicating Sales and Demand Plans
  • Achieving consensus with operational demand forecasts
  • Providing input to volume planning
  • Preparing andmaintainingrelevant reportspertaining todemand planning process
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience developing andmaintainingan S&OP process
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership rolemanaging direct reports
  • Demonstratedtrack recordof accomplishments in a similar role managing supply,demandand inventory planning
  • Technical experience using advanced forecasting tools
  • Outstanding analytical skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Position follows a hybrid work requirement, consisting of four (4) days onsite and one (1) day remote weekly.
  • Primarily office-based with standard working hours; may require additional hours to meet project deadlines or address urgent matters.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Minimal physical demands, primarily involving sitting, using a computer, and other office-related activities
