About the Opportunity
  • Consolidation & Month-End Close
    • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation cycle for the Neo group.
    • Run, review, and release the consolidation master workbook generated through Sage 300.
    • Ensure intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translations, and consolidation adjustments are accurately reflected.
    • Monitor results for unusual movements, variances, and errors; coordinate with the consolidations team member for corrections.
    • Ensure compliance with IFRS consolidation principles.
    • Maintain and update consolidation checklists, calendars, and close processes.
    • Review subsidiary submissions and follow up on delays or inconsistencies.
  • External Reporting (Financial Statements & MD&A)
    • Prepare quarterly consolidated financial statements and select note disclosures.
    • Update and prepare the MD&A using existing templates in Workiva.
    • Support the preparation of working papers and respond to auditor requests.
    • Ensure disclosures comply with IFRS and internal reporting requirements.
    • Assist with ad-hoc technical accounting research.
  • Internal Reporting Support
    • Prepare internal reporting packages for executive review.
    • Review submissions from subsidiaries for completeness and accuracy.
    • Assist in preparing Board‑facing reporting packages when required.
  • Systems & Process Improvement
    • Oversee consolidation workflow in Sage 300 and participate in the planned transition to OneStream.
    • Document and enhance consolidation and reporting processes, with a focus on efficiency and internal control.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline data flow between foreign subsidiaries and Toronto HQ.
    • Support efforts to accelerate the close and reporting cycle.
  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Supervise and mentor Analyst(s), ensuring work quality, timely delivery, and professional growth.
    • Provide technical accounting guidance and clarity on reporting requirements.
    • Support workload planning, task assignments, and cross‑training initiatives.
About You
  • Canadian CPA designation.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in accounting, consolidation, and/or external reporting.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS.
  • Hands‑on experience with consolidation systems (Sage 300 preferred; OneStream experience an asset).
  • Experience preparing financial statements or MD&A using Workiva is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver under pressure.
  • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills.

Salary Range

$110,000 - $120,000 / year
