Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close process, ensuring accuracy and on‑time delivery across all reporting cycles
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting investor reporting as needed
• Own the general ledger – maintaining the system, reviewing journal entries, and ensuring reconciliations are complete and correct
• Develop and enforce internal financial controls and procedures that keep AppDirect audit‑ready year‑round
• Partner with the external audit team annually, coordinating documentation and responses across the finance function
• Manage and grow a team of at least two direct reports, providing coaching, feedback, and clear direction on priorities
• Support acquisition‑related financial integrations as they arise, working cross‑functionally to ensure a smooth transition
• Support multinational foreign entities and assist with financial consolidation processes

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including exposure to full‑cycle close and financial reporting
• 2+ years managing direct reports in an accounting or finance function
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA designation preferred
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and acquisitions is considered an asset
• Hands‑on experience with NetSuite or a comparable enterprise ERP system
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – you’ll regularly present financial information to leadership and work across departments, so clarity matters
