Job summary

The University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business invites applications for Sessional Instructor(s) to teach Winter 2027 ACCT 603 (Management Accounting). Classes run Jan 11–Apr 13, 2027, with exams potential April 16–27. We seek candidates with CPA designation, accounting teaching experience, and familiarity with Zoom or D2L.

Preference given to those with master's teaching or prior ACCT 603 experience. Submit CV, teaching evaluations, references, and supporting info by the deadline.

Qualifications

• A post-secondary degree in a related field and a CPA designation in Canada are required.
• Previous post-secondary undergraduate accounting teaching experience in managerial accounting is required.
• Preference for applicants with master's level teaching experience and ACCT 603 familiarity.
• Experience with Zoom, D2L and other digital education tools is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Teach ACCT 603 Management Accounting in Winter 2027 (Jan 11–Apr 13, 2027).
