Pursuit CollectionJasper, AB$18 an hour - Seasonal, Full-time Job detailsPay$18 an hourJob typeSeasonalFull-timeLocationJasper, ABFull job descriptionWhat will be your daily pursuit?:Bring your best in the delivery of an exceptional hospitality and sales experience to guests visiting Maligne LakeWhat will your compensation be?:The starting salary for this position is $18.00 / hour + $0.50 / hour for every regular hour worked.When does this adventure begin?:This position begins May 27 and runs until September 29 or October 13, 2025What perks can you expect?:Join an inclusive, global team and make life-long connections.Enjoy free access to Pursuit attractions and 50% off for friends.Get discounts on hotel stays, dining, and retail.Access subsidized mental health and wellness resources.What will you do in this job?:Provide an exceptional hospitality-focused informational and sales interaction with guests visiting Maligne LakeBe current and up to date on all Pursuit attractions, products and promotions along with our other services/experiences provided on siteProvide information and answer questions about general knowledge of the Maligne Valley and Jasper areaCheck guests in as they arrive at the tour boat boarding area scanning all access tickets, coordinating guests for efficient and timely boarding and answering questions (this part of the role is outside)Be first point of contact for any tour boarding issues including tour delays or cancellations, guests who have missed their tour or have not arrived and communicating effectively with tour directors and the guest services office/dispatchWork closely with boat captain/guides as to loading/unloading of the tour boatsMaintain cleanliness of ticket and boarding areasBe knowledgeable and proficient in the use of the point of sale, cash and credit transactions along with daily cash out proceduresRent and outfit a fleet of canoes, kayaks and peddle boats, providing safety and operating instructions to guestsEnsure that rental boat agreements and releases are thoroughly understood, completed correctly, properly filed and adhered toComplete minor repairs as required to rental boats and equipment, reporting any larger issues to the fleet maintenance dept.Other duties as assignedWhat skills and experience do you need for this job?:A passion for delivering a memorable experience to each guest is the most important aspect of this position!Strong communication skills, with an ability to proactively listen and be empatheticMust get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environmentPrevious hospitality and cash handling experience an assetAbility to think on the fly and outside the box to solve problems with a positive attitudeSecond language is an assetMature, energetic, dependable and self-motivatedEnjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environmentComfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
