A public health organization is seeking a Maintenance Worker II in Innisfail, Alberta. The role involves routine preventative and demand maintenance activities, semi-skilled repair work, and ensuring the efficient operation of the building's systems. Candidates must have completed Grade 10, hold a valid driver's license, and possess relevant certifications. This is a regular full-time position with a pay range of $27.00 to $29.47 per hour. The role requires the ability to work flexible shifts, primarily days with on-call duties.
As a Maintenance Worker II, you may perform routine preventative and demand maintenance activities within the exterior and interior of the building. Under general supervision, you may perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance and repair work on facility architectural, structural and mechanical systems/components to ensure safety and efficient operation of the building systems and equipment. You may perform a wide range of general maintenance duties including maintenance and repair of drywall, floors and painting. Additional duties may include minor plumbing repair; minor repairs on equipment; checks on equipment for pressure and temperature; and disassembly of equipment for cleaning.
Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent. Possession of a valid driver's licence. Power Engineer 5th Class Certificate required where boiler support is necessary.
Class 5 ABSA Certification.
