Job Description
  • Assists with completion of the preventative maintenance checklist and completes minor repair work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc, to maintain the hotel and keep product quality to
  • Assists in checking electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, television sets, lighting systems and makes minor repairs and / or
  • Assists in checking and makes minor repairs on general plumbing systems and fixtures such as pipelines, toilets and sinks, kitchen and laundry
  • Maintains outside hotel property, parking lots, lawns, , according to seasonal requirements.
  • Provides preventative maintenance to guest rooms and public
  • Refurbishes furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows and Paints and finishes furniture and fixtures in guest rooms, if needed.
  • Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.

Health and Safety
  • Follow hotel safe work procedures and policy, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Know and comply with all Occupational Health & Safety regulations, as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Ministry of Labour.
  • Report all injuries or illnesses to a supervisor or manager
  • Participate in Joint Health and Safety Committee by bringing health and safety concerns or issues to the attention of the committee.
