Job summary

Elk Valley Resources (EVR) is hiring a Senior Maintenance Training Coordinator to develop, implement, and deliver required training for the Elkview Mine Maintenance Department in the Elk Valley, British Columbia.

We seek a candidate with strong interpersonal, communication and team management skills, capable of scheduling training, maintaining records, and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment. Enjoy a compressed work week with alternating Fridays off and a true work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Requires Journeyperson Red Seal Ticket and at least 2 years in trade, training, or supervisory roles.
• Strong project and change management experience is essential.
• Excellent digital literacy and proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies.
• Source and deliver training using internal and external materials.
• Develop comprehensive training plans and lesson materials for apprentices and OEM training.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to determine training needs and priorities, and evaluate programs.
• Deliver lectures and presentations to groups across sites.
• Partner with other sites to develop content for Journeypersons and apprentices.
