Northern Vision Development is seeking a capable maintenance professional to support its Yukon portfolio in Whitehorse. You will handle day‑to‑day repairs, preventative tasks, and site safety to keep buildings functional and secure.
The role requires practical maintenance experience, solid problem‑solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Valid driver’s license and physical ability to perform tasks are expected.
We shape, build, and connect the North. We do this by anchoring our work in Drive, Rigour, and Kindness – ambition in what we pursue, discipline in how we deliver, and respect in how we lead.
Northern Vision Development owns and operates a diverse portfolio of properties across the Yukon, including commercial, residential, mixed‑use, hospitality, and seniors living assets. This role supports that portfolio on the ground in Whitehorse, helping keep buildings safe, functional, and well maintained through responsive day‑to‑day repairs and preventative maintenance.
No two days look exactly the same. One day might have you responding to a tenant repair, adjusting a door, or clearing a site safety issue; the next could take you through one of our hotels, a residential building, or a commercial property handling the practical work that keeps the place running well. This role is a fit for someone who likes variety, takes pride in solving problems, and wants to see the results of their work every day.
This role offers the opportunity to do practical, visible work that directly supports the quality and safety of our properties. We offer:
Northern Vision Development is a majority First Nation‑owned company based in the Yukon with a growing regional footprint. For more than two decades, we’ve built and operated hotels, restaurants, residential and commercial properties, seniors living communities, and mixed‑use developments across the North.
We are operators and entrepreneurs at heart, locally present and performance‑focused. We build strong businesses and lasting partnerships that strengthen our communities.
We are committed to building a diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve. Joining NVD means becoming part of a team that takes ownership, works collaboratively, and helps shape how northern communities live, work, and gather.
*Thank you for considering NVD as part of your career journey. We’re not able to personally connect with every applicant so only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
