Job summary

A senior living community in Kelowna is seeking a compassionate Maintenance Worker to ensure the safety and maintenance of the facility. Responsibilities include logging checks, executing work orders, and maintaining clear exit areas in winter. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience preferred.
• WHMIS training and Occupational Health and Safety Certifications are assets.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all required checks are executed, promptly logged and documented.
• Assist in maintaining the building in a safe and operable condition.
• Executing on work orders, preventative maintenance.
• Painting of vacant suites and touch ups in common areas.
• Prioritizing items needing attention and repair.
• Supporting the fire safety program for the home.
• Ensuring exit areas are clear of ice and snow.
