Job summary

A maintenance-focused management company is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician in Halifax to ensure the upkeep of building systems and appearances. Responsibilities include performing repairs and conducting preventative maintenance, alongside managing snow removal and grounds inspections. Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma, prior maintenance or construction experience, and strong mechanical and physical skills. Qualifications

• Prior maintenance and/or construction experience required.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment such as snow blowers and lawn mowers.
• Must pass Competency Maintenance Test.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
• Conduct maintenance inspections including security and fire systems.
• Inspect subcontractor work and document performance/quality.
