Job summary

Wabtec Foundry in Wallaceburg, Ontario, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will work closely with Maintenance, Production, Scheduling, Quality and Management to keep equipment safe, reliable and productive.

The role requires 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, with electrical/mechanical knowledge and PLC familiarity. This is an on-site position with a 40-hour workweek, offering opportunities to improve equipment performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or distribution preferred.
• Millwright, machine repair, industrial experience or electrical/welding certifications.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic theory knowledge.
• Reading/writing/comprehension in English required.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Maintain equipment for safety and optimal uptime, improve reliability and efficiency.
• Provide guidance on machine setup and standard operating procedures.
• Fabricate parts as required and support electrical projects.
