Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our community, equipment and grounds safe, clean, and well-maintained, ensuring a preventive maintenance program runs smoothly. You will support a healthy environment for residents and staff while collaborating with other teams.

Responsibilities include exterior snow/ice removal, building repairs, gardening, landscaping, and routine ground maintenance. You will follow maintenance schedules and may assist with housekeeping in high areas as

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of painting and general maintenance experience.
• Class 5 Power Engineer ticket preferred.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken.
• Energetic team player who promotes a positive work environment.
• Able to multi-task in a demanding setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform outdoor custodial duties such as snow/ice removal from walkways.
• Repair and maintenance of inside and outside the building including gardening, landscaping, pest control.
• Coordinate routine ground maintenance, parking areas, driveways, by cutting, trimming, sweeping, etc.
• Perform routine and minor repairs of building and equipment including drywall, carpentry, painting.
• Ensure Preventative Maintenance Check Sheets and Schedules are followed.
• May perform housekeeping duties in high places and in mechanical areas.

The Opportunity:The Maintenance Technician is required to maintain the community, equipment and grounds in a safe and efficient manner to ensure a successful and viable preventative maintenance program is maintained at all times.
