What will your role involve?
As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Handle general maintenance work such as minor carpentry, door and hardware repairs, painting and drywall patching.
- Assist with building operations as needed to keep facilities running smoothly.
- Install and repair trim, doors, moulding and cabinetry.
- Repair or refinish furniture and fixtures as required.
- Safely use and maintain a range of power tools and equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent issues to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
- Support other team members and contractors as needed to complete work efficiently and on time.

We are looking for an individual with a proactive approach to maintenance. If you have experience troubleshooting along with a passion for ensuring everything runs smoothly, you might be the perfect fit for our team!
To excel in this role, you should be:
- Minimum of two to three years of previous experience considered an asset
- Completed Grade 12 education
- Clean driver’s abstract required
- Able to use basic power tools and complete basic building maintenance
- Basic command of the English language (written and verbal)
- Exceptional skills in communications, organization, interpersonal and time‑management
- Plumbing knowledge would be considered an asset
- Proven experience in exercising good judgment under pressure
- Physically fit, able to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time and lift in excess of 25 kilograms
- Carpentry/construction skills considered an asset
- Strong customer care and communication skills
