Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking a maintenance technician to repair and maintain machinery, equipment, and facility systems across processing and packaging operations. You will follow blueprints and manuals, diagnose issues, and repair using brazing, soldering, welding, and hand tools, while ensuring safety and quality.

You will support continuous improvement, participate in 5S and STW activities, and work overtime or weekends as required to meet production needs.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on processing equipment, processing support equipment, utility support equipment, and facility related machinery and equipment.
  • Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts, fabricate parts when needed, adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
  • Follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams and service manuals to repair and maintain equipment.
  • Repair broken parts using brazing, soldering, and welding equipment and hand tools.
  • Troubleshoot automation/robotics.
  • Prepare maintenance reports, document and communicate actions, irregularities and continuing needs through the use of EAM.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
  • Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business.
  • Capable of using formulas, theories and measurements.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs that may pertain to maintenance of the equipment or building.
  • Other duties as assigned.
