A leading automotive supplier based in Southwestern Ontario is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Maintenance department. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong leadership skills, and knowledge of the automotive industry. Qualifications

• Experience in working in a unionized environment.
• Familiar with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
• Press Experience would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Maintenance Department on own shift.
• Provide PM schedule that ensures machine robustness.
• Maintain maintenance related records as required.

Skills

Millwright and/or Electrical and/or Tool & Die trades certification

Excellent English Communication Skills (oral and written)

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong leadership and problem solving skills

Knowledge of automotive industry processes and operations

Education

5-10 years of Supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing environment

Tools

Basic knowledge in computer software for windows

Working knowledge of E-Maintenance or similar maintenance program

Knowledge of IATF certifications and audits
