The Coca-Cola Company is hiring a Senior Manager, Maintenance for its Peterborough, Ontario plant. You will lead a maintenance and reliability strategy across process, packaging, utilities, and building systems to maximize uptime and ensure compliance with ammonia, CFIA and related standards.

You will mentor teams, coordinate with production and safety partners, and manage capital and contractor activities to drive continuous improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a similar Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years in industrial maintenance positions with leadership responsibility.
  • Advanced knowledge of refrigeration systems (ammonia), wastewater treatment, and critical utilities.
  • Experience with maintenance and engineering compliance standards (ISO, GMP, HACCP, CFIA).
  • Proven CMMS experience, preferably SAP, for preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting across processing, packaging, utilities, and automation (PLC/SCADA/HMI).
  • Familiarity with CSA and TSSA codes; ability to read/modify P&IDs and schematics.
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven reliability decision-making.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a passion for building team competence and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.**Position-Related Duties and Key Responsibilities*** Lead the development and execution of a multi-year maintenance and reliability strategy for the site, including alignment on capital project priorities.* Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime of process, packaging, utilities, and building systems.* Build technical capability across maintenance teams through structured coaching, mentoring, and skills development programs.* Partner with production, quality, safety, and warehouse teams to deliver operational improvements that meet site performance and compliance targets.* Ensure regulatory and internal compliance with systems including ammonia refrigeration, wastewater treatment, utilities, TSSA, CFIA, and KORE standards.* Oversee the planning and allocation of resources for maintenance activities, spare parts management, and contractor coordination to ensure efficiency and continuity of operations.* Utilize analytical tools to track the Department's KPIs, identify failure modes, and implement corrective actions to minimize unplanned downtime.* Serve as the site Subject Matter Expert for maintenance processes, engineering change control, and technical upgrades, ensuring smooth integration of new systems or technologies.* Support the execution of capital projects by collaborating with corporate engineering and on-site project teams.* Champion a culture of continuous improvement by initiating focused improvement projects for safety, quality, and operational reliability.* Act as a key partner in internal and external audits, driving ownership of findings and corrective actions to ensure sustained compliance.* Communicate progress against maintenance KPIs, cost metrics, and reliability performance to stakeholders, delivering insights that inform operational decisions.* Ensure safe work practices across all maintenance operations while fostering sustainable maintenance approaches aligned with corporate sustainability goals.* Provide leadership and direction for on-site troubleshooting during complex technical issues across systems such as process automation, utilities, and building infrastructure.**Education and Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a similar Engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience required.* Minimum 5 years of experience in similar industrial maintenance positions, including leadership roles with strategic responsibility.* Advanced knowledge of refrigeration systems (including ammonia), wastewater treatment, and critical utilities operations.* Expertise in maintenance and engineering compliance standards for food manufacturing, including ISO, GMP, HACCP, and CFIA guidelines.* Proven experience managing site preventive and predictive maintenance programs leveraging modern CMMS platforms such as SAP.* Solid technical background in troubleshooting processing and packaging machinery/equipment, utilities, and automation systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI).* Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for safety, environmental, and electrical compliance in Canada; knowledge of CSA and TSSA codes and standards is highly desirable.* Ability to interpret and modify technical drawings, P&ID diagrams, and engineering schematics for troubleshooting and process improvement.* Strong analytical and data literacy skills to leverage equipment performance data and reliability metrics for decision-making.* Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional collaboration and managing external contractors in a manufacturing environment.* Excellent organizational, communication, and team leadership skills with the ability to build engagement and capability within a diverse workforce.**What We Offer*** Provide a critical leadership role where you will shape maintenance excellence in a high-performing manufacturing environment.* Ensure access to advanced technologies, tools, and corporate support to deliver sustainable reliability improvements.* Enable professional development and technical growth through continuous learning opportunities and cross-functional project involvement.* Empower you to impact site performance directly by driving efficiency, compliance, and safety across the plant.**Skills:****Pay Range:**Canada: 134,800 - 151,900 CAD*Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
