A leading global engineering firm is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler/Planner for a mine site remediation project in Yukon. Parsons is seeking an amazingly talented Maintenance Scheduler/Planner to join our team! In this role, you will contribute to a mine site remediation project's safe, efficient, and profitable operation as a member of the Care & Maintenance (C&M) Team.
Local Candidates preferred but open to candidates who are available on a fly-in/fly-out rotational basis. This position works shifts of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off with 12 hours per shift. This role includes paid travel to and from the site as well as housing accommodations, but employees are responsible for providing their own food/meals.
Positions begin on a Temporary Fixed-Term basis with the potential to move to a regular, full-time role in the future.
The Planner Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed schedules for maintenance activities involving electricians, mechanics, carpenters, millwrights, and heavy equipment operators (HEOs), as well as for water treatment operations. This role requires close collaboration with project managers, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient execution of tasks. You will also be building standard material associations within the maintenance program.
