Maintenance Mechanic

Location: 22604 - 113 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T5S 2S5
Salary: $48.00–$50.00 per hour (to be negotiated)
Hours: 35–40 per week

Employment type: Permanent, full‑time
Work location: Onsite only (no remote work)

Responsibilities
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set‑up
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Install machinery and equipment
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Required Experience

2 years to less than 3 years

Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Equipment and machinery experience: conveyor, electrical and electronic controls, fans and blowers, hydraulic system, industrial and stationary engine, pneumatic system, power tools, power transmission system, press brakes and metalworking equipment, pumps and compressors, tool grinders, hand tools
  • Area of specialization: start‑up and testing, shutdown operations, renovating and restoring, rigging and handling, troubleshooting, centering and setting to elevation, bearing, seals and packing, vibration analysis
