Job Description

Maintenance Mechanic will troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in the production area and maintain a productive, safe and clean work environment.

Intersection : Torbram and Clark

Payrate : $27.00 per hour

Schedule : Monday to Friday

Shift : Day shift

Work Environment : Production and / or warehouse settings.

Job duties
  • Ability to disassemble, repair, rebuild, overhaul, and troubleshoot plant machines
  • Ability to use different equipment and maintenance tools / must own a toolkit to make simple parts or equipment and tools
  • Ability to read, comprehend and work with blueprint, electrical schematic, operating and maintenance manuals, work orders, repair parts requests, standard and a metric tape measure, and other measuring equipment including a micrometer, a caliper, a scale, and a VOM (Volt / OHM Meter)
  • MSDS forms Steam, Vacuum, Air, Hydraulic gages and Identify proper P / M schedules
  • Identify proper parts, materials and tools needed for specific jobs
  • Understand and demonstrates operating principles and all safety aspects of the steam generator and related steam equipment
  • Ability to complete work orders in Manager Plus (or applicable Maintenance software)
  • Perform electrical repairs along with instructing helpers and less qualified personnel
  • Work weekends to complete planned work as well as emergency repairs
Job Requirements
  • MUST have 3 years of experience within the corrugate industry
  • Minimum of 1 year combination of training, education and / or experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities to perform the duties listed above
  • Must have technical knowledge or maintenance tools and equipment
  • Ability to stand 6-8 hours, must be able to lift 50 lbs. maximum
  • Frequent lifting and / or carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
