Job summary

Vanderlande is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team in a state-of-the-art warehouse. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety and efficiency in material handling systems.

The role requires experience with mechanical, electrical, and controls systems, leadership, and customer-service orientation. Full-time, on-site work with strong collaboration across teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 year technical experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience working with mechanical, electrical and controls (PLC, PC) systems.
• 2 years of prior experience as a Lead Technician.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Promote and manage compliance with all policies and regulations incl. OSHA and safety plans.
• Lead by example with results-focused, people-centered direction and coaching.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee relations and system issues.
• Develop processes to maintain system performance during shift changes and peak periods.
• Maintain open relationships with customer and vendors to maximize performance.
• Design and execute standardized training and quality assessment programs.
• Follow escalation guidelines for downtime or irregular operations.
• Manage employee schedules and daily work assignments with stakeholders.
• Use detailed reporting to drive continuous improvement in performance and operations.
• Lead or participate in team, site, and customer meetings to align on goals.
