About the Role

We are currently looking for an Electromechanic to join our team! Reporting to the Automation Manager, the Electromechanic team is responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of various production equipment, such as multi‑head weighers, augers, and automatic bottling lines. Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, adjust, and safely maintain industrial mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and motorized systems and equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building infrastructure, fixed equipment (e.g., conveyors, dock doors, racks), and motorized equipment (including weekly checklists).
  • Carry out general building maintenance duties, including minor handyman tasks.
  • Check the operation of instruments, systems, and equipment to detect anomalies and analyze the causes of breakdowns in order to provide effective solutions.
  • Complete daily reports on any situation considered dangerous for evaluation and share ideas for improving health and safety at work (CNESST).
  • Actively participate in the improvement and documentation of all maintenance processes.
  • Provide support to the maintenance team as required (e.g., during lunch breaks, short shifts, or vacations).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • DEP in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Electromechanics.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in plumbing and with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems (required).
  • Experience working with automated machinery (an asset).
  • Experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry (an asset).
  • Must demonstrate initiative, autonomy, and the ability to work independently.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and night shifts, and prepared to respond to emergency calls.
