Job summary

Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview
Experience
  • Experience in working with a variety of hand tools, saws, drills, and sanders.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • An acceptable certificate of qualification less than Journeyman in a field related to carpentry, mechanical or electrical work or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s License is required.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work on own and within a team is essential.
  • Experience working with computers: Microsoft Office applications – Outlook, Word, Excel is an asset.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience with WHMIS and Workplace Health andSafety practices and policies are desired.
  • Satisfactory attendance record.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be physically able to do heavy lifting or carrying, work on feet for eight (8) hour shifts, work with heights and/or in varying environmental conditions (inside, outside, high humidity).
