Job summary

McDonald's Canada is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service equipment and facilities across our seven restaurants in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Rigaud, L’Île-Perrot, and Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and respond to service requests to keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and is comfortable working on site with occasional emergency coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to respond to emergency calls during evenings, nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment according to a preventive maintenance schedule.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and carry out repairs or recommend solutions.
• Respond to service calls and restaurant repair requests.
• Perform painting and general maintenance (basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry).
• Maintain and clean the buildings.
• Purchase supplies and materials as required.
• Work safely and keep work areas clean.

Job description

We are looking for a candidate to fill the position of Maintenance Technician for the equipment and facilities of our organization, which operates seven McDonald’s restaurants. Our restaurants are located in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Rigaud, L’Île-Perrot, and Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.

Our Offer

• Starting salary: $50,000 or more, depending on experience.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, between 5:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Must be available to respond to emergency calls during evenings, nights, or weekends.
