Job summary

Apple Self Storage is seeking a MaintenancePerson to keep our facilities clean, safe, and operating efficiently across our properties. You’ll perform essential upkeep, minor repairs, and seasonal tasks that maintain a professional appearance and function.

You will work hands-on, promote safety, adapt to changing tasks, and communicate clearly with the Site Manager. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift and climb ladders are preferred.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance, janitorial work, landscaping, or a similar role.
  • Comfortable with physically demanding tasks (lifting, climbing ladders, outdoor work).
  • Availability for weekday work, with some flexibility for occasional weekend or after-hours needs.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required based on site location.

As a MaintenancePerson, you help ensure that our facilities are clean, safe, and operating efficiently. You’ll support our site teams by performing essential upkeep, minor repairs, and seasonal tasks that help maintain the professional appearance and function of our properties.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain Cleanliness - Ensure offices, washrooms, hallways, and driveways are clean, sanitized, and presentable.
  • General Facility Maintenance Tasks - Tackle small repairs like fixing doors, replacing light bulbs, and lubricating locks. Keep the outside of the facility property looking tidy and accessible to customers.
  • Identify Safety & Security Issues - Report any hazards or facility issues to the Site Manager. Stay alert to any unusual activity after hours and report concerns accordingly.
  • Support Site Teams - Work alongside Site staff to prioritize daily and seasonal maintenance tasks.
