Job location: 99 Toryork Drive, North York, ON M9L 1X9 (on site)

Salary: $32.00 to $38.00 per hour (42.5 hours per week, negotiable)

Employment type: Permanent full‑time

Work hours: 08:00 to 17:00, day shift. Starts as soon as possible. Vacancies: 2.

Education required: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Experience required: Experience is an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery/tools.
  • Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments.
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools.
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
