Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is hiring a Machine Seibi Tech for a 12-month contract in Cambridge, Ontario. The role offers a pay range of $35.00-$40.00 per hour and benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K.

A two-year technical degree or equivalent work experience is required. Responsibilities include industrial maintenance, robot programming (offline/online), PLC logic modification, and ensuring new equipment meets standards from installation to production start.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree (A.S.) or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, robot programming, PLC logic modification and troubleshooting.
• Offline and/or online robot programming.
• Confirm that new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended.
• Prepare and confirm new Body Weld equipment at the vendors.
• Support weld machine Seibi activity at North American Manufacturing Companies from installation to start of production.
• Develop equipment countermeasures during set up/trials.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment and robots.
• Program and modify PLC logic for production lines.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment setup and qualification.
• Support start-up and production ramp for weld cells across NA manufacturing sites.
• Implement countermeasures during initial setup and trials.

This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $35.00 - $40.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

Requirements

Additional Desired Qualifications

• Experience with automated robotic welding (spot/arc) and robotic material handling preferred.
