Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain work space
- Read electrical schematics, blueprints and other technical diagrams
- Bolt, screw, clip, weld, solder or otherwise fasten motor vehicle parts and components together
- Inspect auto parts for defects
- Inspect fully assembled motor vehicles for defects
- Ensure that previously noted defects have been corrected
- Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations
- Verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
- Program CNC machine tools
